Spotify Taeyeon has consistently releasing bops since her endeavor as solo artist in 2015, and apparently this song is no exception. With little to none promotion by her agency, this song managed to get to the peak of charts easily. Musicality (5/5) Released digitally with one other song, " Blue " , which was more on the ballad side, "Four Seasons" sounded more experimental compared to Taeyeon's current discography. Started with around 20 seconds of only vocal with acoustic guitar & piano, the song's went on to have more dynamic & head-nodding, reggae-like beats all the way. After the intro, it progressed to first verse with some unique bass-drum drops combined with a simple guitar & piano rhythm. Then a momentarily beat loss, a held-on bass note, chime sounds, and the re-entrance of drum beats brought us to the chorus. KARA - 4th Album - Full Bloom Overall Score : 3.6/5 iTunes This is not exactly a new song. KARA promoted this song for their fourth album around last Sep 2013. But this would probably be the last song they'd promoted with 5-member formation. As sad as it sounds, after 7 years together, some of the member would not continue their contract with the same agency. (Hear all the fans crying sound? Yup. It was a pity, really) I always thought KARA had a nice-catchy songs, especially for the last 2 albums. I was fascinated by how rich the sound was on "Pandora" single. Overall Score: 3.5 / 5 Spotify Mamamoo's "Four Seasons, Four Color" project had brought out many song in various genre, which was such a blessing for all of us. "Better Than I Thought (생각보단 괜찮아) " was part of the project, specifically in "BLUE;S" album. Although this song was not a title song, but it managed to capture my attention. With no complicated composition and choreograph, this song is the epitome of "less is more". Musicality (2/5) At first listen, the music seemed simple enough, like your typical mid-tempo ballad song, but after more listen, it was more interesting than I thought. It began with rhythmical guitar strum which got repeated until the end of first verse. In the next verse, another guitar and a bit of bass sound was added, adding more layer to the melody.
